No Sex, Do You Cheat

What if your significant other was not medically able to have sex for some reason. This could be a long term or short term situation. Those who would cheat when it's a short term medical situation are questionable. The long term I think...is well, questionable for a whole other set of reasons. I think it is all relative to the couple and if they are in it for better or worse. In this case worse is relative.

Up until 4 am I'm in need of a quick power nap.

Trying to find that balance between motherhood and business woman. I found myself awake until 4 am working up until the last minute on establishing my blog and company. I find the late night hours up to early morning an ideal time for me to get things done when the children are sleeping. My eyes are closing as I write and I think it times for me to really take a nap. I find that there aren't many things that I love more than sleeping but I'm doing too much talking about sleep and now I'm going to catch a few zzz. Holla at you in a few

Waiting is an art...sitting here at the dentist office I realize that you must find a way to concentrate. Concentrate on how to fill you're time and the wait won't seen so agonizing. My daughter is the patient-to be and she can't stay still to save her life.

The dentist office door slams really loudly, so she had made it her job to keep the door from slamming much to the amusement of the other patients waiting to be seen. Too bad for her, the last person to come and go knew about the door already, so she didn't get a chance to do get job, lol.


I'm filling my time by posting this story and reading magazine number 2. Life is full of opportunities to make the best of the moment. Appreciate that you have nothing to do right at that moment. At the end of it all my daughter was happy.

Ain't Nobody Fresher than my Hip Mommy Clique.

Okay we're not that fresh today, we'll at least I'm not but, I just heard the song soooo. Here we go to the dentist to get a spacer replaced. Taylor and I at the dentist office. This is just part of my clique' the other 2 chicas are at home anxiously awaiting our return.

Yes, my baby had to get a tooth pulled and a spacer applied. I know, I know I'm a bad mom, she told me it was my fault that she had cavities because I let her eat too much candy. The nerve of her with her big ol' teeth. She gets those chompers from her daddy, lol.

The spacer was applied until her adult tooth comes in. I hope that is sooner than later. I'm out

It's 3:00 in the morning (happy rant)

Conversation got dead, with my husband because he fell asleep right here next to me (he tried)...it's pouring down raining outside and I'm still up getting things accomplished. It's amazing how the thought of success can keep you from needing sleep. I know it sounds cliche and simple but, always do what you love. Just doing this makes the world of difference in how you approach things. I feel like starting this blog has given me a new awakening and the rain outside is symbolic to the rinsing away of all the not so good things of the past. So like #SWV said "Rain down on me, let your love just flow like rain drops. Rain on meeee". God/Goodness is raining down on me and right now I couldn't be more satisfied with myself. Yay me!!! Nobel Peace Prize Mommy Chicks

I am proud to announce that 3 women took home the Nobel Peace Prize for Women's Rights. I am even more pleased to say that 2 of the women are from my Mother Country Liberia. Leymah Gbowee, Liberian Peace and Women's Activist and 1st Female African Country President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf won for their non-violent role in peacemaking. Congrats go out to them as well as to, Tawakkol Karman of Yemen, a pro-democracy campaigner.

How should married couples handle friends of the opposite sex? Is it possible to be "just friends" with an attractive friend?

Can men and women REALLY be just friends? I think there is a fine line when it comes to having friends of the opposite sex when married or coupled up. 

I do believe that it can be done and done effectively however, it all depends on the couple/people involved.

Vegan Girl in an Non-Vegan World

So I am transitioning to a Vegan lifestyle, but recently I have had an lifestyle adjustment. I was going along on my merry little Vegan way with my children following suit to having my parents move in with me and mix the whole concept up.

You see my dad loves to cook and cooks almost every night (because I'm lazy and who doesn't love not having to cook). The problem is that he doesn't care or think two thoughts about not cooking with meats and everything else he has used over the years. His food is delicious like no other, trust me and he's the only one who can make my Liberian food the way I want it to taste.

So what is a Vegan girl living in a non Vegan world to do?
