Real Kids Shades Review and Giveaway {Win It Wednesdays}

She picked out her lovely outfit all by herself.
Heat Wave and Sunny Days
The weather in my area has gotten extremely hot. My area had a certified heat wave the last week with the sun blazing at temperatures in the 90's. Being the Hip Mommy Chick that I am. I always have me a pair of stylish cute shades. I've bought my girls the sunglasses or two but, never really thought about how susceptible to sun related eye damage they may be.

This is So Real
Real Kids Shades and Prevent Blindness America the nations leading volunteer eye health and safety organization are engaged in an ongoing effort to increase awareness and understanding of the long-term danger of unprotected sun exposure to children's eyes.

Shades for All and a Giveaway

Real Kids Shades sent me 3 pairs of sunglasses for my daughters and I to try out. Before I agree to review anything it must be something that I would, want or could see the benefit in using. With that being said, the sunglasses arrived and were in these great shade cases that have a handy snap hook that are easy to attach to a pair of pants or any article of clothing, bag or even a key chain.

One lucky winner will win a pair of Real Kids Shades of their choice. So be sure to get extra entries by subscribing to Hip Mommy Chick and leave a comment below. Enter daily!!!

All age ranges
My ladies picked out hot pink, tortoise, and black. The great thing about Real Kids Shades is that the glasses are designed based on the child's age range. The 0-3 age range has an adjustable band that fits baby comfortably and also helps them float in water. The shades are shatterproof and stand up to kid life.

Rockin' her hip shades
My daughter pictured has the 3-7 range, Flex and that means flexible frames. I've seen her pull them like a wishbone and they haven't broke or stayed stretched out. As you can see the shades are hanging around her neck and won't get lost.

The 7-12 range has some cute over-sized frames, the choice of my two older ladies. As well as some edgier wrap around frames. All of the shades are 100% UVA/UVB protected.

The Sun Will Come Out Tomorrow
Now that the Sun has decided to bless us with it's presence. Me and my little queens have been on a couple of outings and will be going on some more trips soon. I will have our Real Kids Shades in our bag wherever we may go and will post some pics, sharing my review of the shades and also how my girls feel about them as well.

I can start by telling you that every time we leave the house I have been packing our super hip shadesSo many times I've bought sunglasses and they end up broke or lost within the first few days. It's made me not want to waste my money on what seemed like toys. I learned so much from my association with Real Kids Shades and Prevent Blindness America about the difference between toys and real shades and the science behind these real kids shades.

No Toys Here
The shades are not toys and I stressed this to my girls repeatedly. As I said earlier, I always have on some stylish sunglasses. Let me tell you, Real Kids Shades are not accessories by any means, but they also have some serious style.
